Ingredients:
- 500g boneless chicken
- 2 tbsp ghee or clarified butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
Instructions:
Begin by heating the ghee and oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the onions and sauté them until they become translucent in color.
Next, add the ginger garlic paste to the pan and continue sautéing for approximately one minute.
Add red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and sauté for a minute.
Add the boneless chicken and sauté for 5-6 minutes until the chicken turns brown.
Add the yogurt and mix well. Reduce the heat and let the chicken simmer in the yogurt for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked.
Add the cream and mix well. Simmer for 5 more minutes.
Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves and serve with rice or naan.
